Introducing the new BOMA BEST®!
Following a year-long, professionally-led process, BOMA Canada is proud to present its new brand. Based on extensive stakeholder feedback, we’ve modified our look with simplified and more focused visual language. Our new brand imagery lets you unambiguously communicate your environmental commitment while our five new levels of certification (from Certified to Platinum).
Is your building already certified? We encourage you to use the new terminology and logos when communicating your BOMA BEST® certification. You can also update your certificate and promotional posters, stickers, etc. For more information on ordering promotional material, please visit our Marketing and Communications page.
Are you a Level 1 building? In the course of our consultations, we realized that a significant number of buildings scored between 60-69 percent on their BOMA BEST® assessment, far exceeding simply meeting the minimum BEST practices. With the launch of our new brand, we are introducing the new Bronze level for buildings which meet the BEST practices and score between 60-69%. Buildings which meet the BEST practices and score below 60% now earn the Certified level. If you earned Level 1 under the old brand, simply visit your BOMA BEST® Report online to obtain your final numeric score and learn whether your level is Bronze or Certified.

As of December 31, 2014, over 4,124 buildings, representing hundreds of millions of square feet of Canadian commercial real estate, have achieved BOMA BEST® certification and/or recertification.
The 2015 National Green Building Report (NGBR) celebrates – and details – the 562 buildings that achieved BOMA BEST® certification between January 1st and December 31st, 2014.
BOMA Canada is proud to introduce our new Portfolio Program for Light Industrial and/or Open Air Retail properties.
Benefits of the Program include continuous certification, an annual fee, buildings can be registered from multiple geographic regions, fees based on square footage rather than on a building-by-building basis.
